Kavanagh pulled off the big victory in the main event. The scorecards were a little tighter than they should have been, but the right man got the decision.

Kavanagh got a big win over a two-time champion and has now rebounded well from a stunning KO loss in his last fight.

Moreno, who holds the all-time flyweight record for significant strikes landed, has now dropped four of his last six fights and faces serious questions about his future in the title picture.

Co-Main and Main Card Results

David Martinez continued his meteoric rise with a unanimous decision over Marlon Vera (30-27, 30-27, 29-28), extending his winning streak to 10 and further cementing his place among the bantamweight division’s elite.

Vera has now dropped four straight — a rough stretch for a fighter who once held a top-five ranking.

King Green pulled a major upset, knocking out local favorite Daniel Zellhuber in the second round at 4:55. Zellhuber entered as a -500 favorite and was fighting in front of his home crowd, making the loss that much more devastating.

Here is a look at the finish.

Green now has nine UFC bonus awards on his resume, the kind of veteran consistency that keeps him dangerous against any opponent.

Edgar Chairez edged Felipe Bunes via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) in a competitive flyweight bout. Imanol Rodriguez made a statement in his UFC debut, stopping Kevin Borjas via second-round TKO at 4:21 after surviving a first-round scare.

Santiago Luna opened the main card with a dominant unanimous decision over Angel Pacheco (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Prelim Highlights

The prelims delivered even more chaos.

Ryan Gandra needed just 41 seconds to dispatch Jose Daniel Medina — the fastest finish of the night.

Javier Reyes knocked out Douglas Silva de Andrade at 4:59 of the first round in a fight that came down to the final seconds.

Francis Marshall locked in a rear-naked choke to submit Erik Silva at 2:29 of the opening frame.

Damian Pinas added another first-round stoppage with a TKO of Wes Schultz at 2:30.

Ailin Perez picked up a solid unanimous decision over Macy Chiasson, Cristian Quiñonez outpointed Kris Moutinho, and Regina Tarin remained undefeated with a decision win over Ernesta Kareckaitė.

The post The Manchester City Donnarumma Doubters Have Missed Something Huge appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. MANCHESTER, ENGLAND – SEPTEMBER 14: Gianluigi Donnarumma of Manchester City celebrates the second City goal during the Premier League match between Manchester City and Manchester United at Etihad Stadium on September 14, 2025 in Manchester, England. (Photo by Visionhaus/Getty Images) Visionhaus/Getty Images For a goalkeeper who’d played an influential role in the club’s first-ever Champions League triumph, it was strange to see Gianluigi Donnarumma so easily discarded. Soccer is a brutal game, but the sudden, drastic demotion of the Italian from Paris Saint-Germain’s lineup for the UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham Hotspur before he was sold to Manchester City was shockingly brutal. Coach Luis Enrique isn’t a man who minces his words, so he was blunt when asked about the decision on social media. “I am supported by my club and we are trying to find the best solution,” he told a news conference. “It is a difficult decision. I only have praise for Donnarumma. He is one of the very best goalkeepers out there and an even better man. “But we were looking for a different profile. It’s very difficult to take these types of decisions.” The last line has really stuck, especially since it became clear that Manchester City was Donnarumma’s next destination. Pep Guardiola, under whom the Italian will be playing this season, is known for brutally axing goalkeepers he didn’t feel fit his profile. The most notorious was Joe Hart, who was jettisoned many years ago for very similar reasons to Enrique. So how can it be that the Catalan coach is turning once again to a so-called old-school keeper? Well, the truth, as so often the case, is not quite that simple. As Italian soccer expert James Horncastle pointed out in The Athletic, Enrique’s focus on needing a “different profile” is overblown. Lucas Chevalier,…
