Uniswap founder Hayden: Correlated trading pairs could push AMMs into global financial markets
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Uniswap founder Hayden said on X that as traditional assets such as stocks, ETFs, commodities, and credit become increasingly tokenized, AMMs could expand beyond long-tail crypto assets and stablecoins into global financial markets. He argued that once tokenized assets share the same settlement layer, highly correlated pairs such as Nvidia/SPY or oil companies/crude oil ETFs could emerge, with a small number of highly liquid “bridge” pairs connecting them back to the U.S. dollar. The higher the correlation between assets, the lower the inventory risk for liquidity providers, potentially narrowing the efficiency gap between passive AMM strategies and traditional active market making.
Sui: Tokenized U.S. high-yield credit asset HIGH embeds holding rules, supports multi-protocol collateral use and spot trading
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Sui said on X that HIGH, a tokenized U.S. high-yield credit asset launched by Ember Protocol, embeds real-world asset holding rules directly into the asset itself. HIGH can currently be used as collateral on Suilend, NAVI Protocol, and AlphaFi, while also supporting spot trading on Bluefin. The model combines compliance-oriented holding rules for traditional credit assets with on-chain trading and DeFi collateral use. This allows tokenized assets to move beyond passive holding and enter lending and liquidity markets, expanding the composability of RWA products within the Sui ecosystem.
CLARITY Act faces very low chance of passage before midterm elections as House Republican leadership cancels September 21 and 28 voting weeks

The House is expected to return on September 14 for a four-day legislative session before leaving Washington and not reconvening until after the midterm elections.
