Lloyds Banking Group Leader Recognised as Top Fintech Innovator of 2026 by FICO

Global analytics software leader FICO (NYSE:FICO) announced the winners of its second FICO® Decision Hero Awards, recognising leaders who are pushing the boundaries of what advanced analytics can achieve in banking and financial services. This year’s honourees include executives from TD Bank in North America, Lloyds Banking Group in the UK, and Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand.

With a career spanning four decades across two of the UK’s most prominent financial institutions, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group, Will Ashman has developed exceptional depth in risk decision systems. Since 2021, he has played a key role in Lloyds’ Risk Transformation programme, leading the development of multi product decisioning strategies on FICO® Platform across consumer originations.  His ability to combine technical expertise with pragmatic delivery has been key to maintaining business resilience and regulatory confidence, with his team now leading its expansion into customer management; a deployment set to reshape how one of the UK’s largest banks serves its customers at scale.
